Kym Buzdygon, pronounced “Buzz-duh-gone”, loves working with companion animals and wildlife, and has spent the last five years doing program management and wildlife rehabilitation. Kym’s academic background includes an undergraduate degree in environmental studies and biology from Oberlin College and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Washington. Kym has traveled a lot but is originally from Maryland, most recently from Seattle, and now loves the sunshine here in Southern California. She also loves hiking and works/volunteers regularly with other local animal-focused organizations. Kym lives in Claremont with her spouse Ema, who is in veterinary school at Western University, one shaggy black dog named Cali, and one fluffy white cat named Sullivan.
Allison was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, and recently moved to the Inland Empire. A trained Veterinary Technician, Allison graduated from Carrington College, Pomona with an Associate of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. For the past three years she has worked and volunteered in multiple veterinary hospitals caring for many types of animals such as dogs, cats, pocket pets, and exotics. Allison is grateful to have joined a team that makes a difference in the lives of many pet parents and their fur babies. She has 3 dogs of her own; Roxy her 11 year old papillon, Molly her rescued Terrier mix, and Leo her adopted Great Swiss Mountain dog. In her free time she enjoys running, hiking, snowboarding and boating.
Monique was raised in Glendora, and currently resides in La Verne. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a major in Human Services and a minor in Psychology. Although she loves working with humans, her love for pets is what brought her to Pet Service Solutions. Since she was born, she grew up with dogs. Having owned and cared for dogs her whole life, she decided to join a community that treats pets with respect, love and dignity. She has 3 fur children: Tommy, her beagle, and Maddie and Mia, her Lhasa apsas. She enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her friends, family and fur children.
Ema is a full-time student at Western University of Health Sciences pursuing a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine with an anticipated graduation date of May 2019. Originally from Massachusetts, Ema received a Bachelor’s in Biology from the College of the Holy Cross before moving to Washington where she worked and volunteered with several veterinary hospitals and wildlife centers. Ema’s field experience also includes paleontological excavations in Beijing, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona. Now enjoying the sunshine in Southern California, Ema loves to hike, rides a scooter, and lives in Claremont with her fiancée Kym, dog Cali, and cat Sullivan.
Kelly is a full-time student at Western University of Health Sciences pursuing a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine with an anticipated graduation date of May 2019. She is also completing her Master's in Public Health, Zoonotic and Infectious Diseases from Kansas State University with an anticipated graduation date in 2017. Originally from the Bay Area (San Ramon), Kelly received her Bachelor’s in Animal Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Kelly's animal experience began in 2010 working with the Morro Bay Marine Mammal Center and since then also includes dog and cat surgical experience, veterinary technician work, and laboratory and research positions. In her free time Kelly enjoys rock climbing, skiing and spending time with her 3-legged kitty Cheez-it.
Dondi McFadden started her career caring professionally for the two-legged human variety. After successfully serving many families in the Claremont area, she began her career with Pet Service Solutions in 2015, excited about our goal of helping pets live happier, healthier lives. Now published on the Best of 2016 Pet Service Provider on Thumbtack, Dondi brings years of caring experience to the pet world coupled with a dedication to professionalism, and a passion for pets. Dondi has lived in Claremont for over 20 years and loves her spoiled and beautiful Goldendoodle, Summer.
Amber Jillian Stokes has been in the animal industry since 2004. Managing veterinary hospitals, in Banfield Pet Hospital's field and corporate office, in PetSmart store management, in company-wide store operations for JustFoodForDogs, and most recently as a corporate veterinary consultant. Struggling with the challenges of the current pet service industry, she was determined to start a movement and company that would redefine pet service. Amber's family consists of a Biewer Terrier (Madison), a German Shorthaired Pointer (Heidi), a German Wire-haired Pointer (Hagen), a tuxedo cat (Monkey), tortoise (Tim) and a human family (Jay, Nate, Evan, William & Jillian).

Julia is a full-time seminary student pursuing her Masters of Divinity at Biola University's Talbot School of Theology with hopes of acquiring her second Masters in Health Education. Julia has an undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University. Caring for her own little, puffy, white Maltese, Millie, she fell in love with dog walking and caring for pets. Julia continues to enjoy her love of pets as a member of the PSS family! She feels this has truly been her favorite job in the entire world and is the perfect blend of her passions: She absolutely loves all things active, outdoor, health, nature AND fun, loving, cuddly animals! Her home wouldn't be the same without 3 little munchkins running around: Lola (Maltese), Millie (Maltese), and Athena (mini Pinscher).
Sarah was born in Pomona, raised in San Dimas, and has lived in the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire ever since. After graduating with a degree in Psychology from Cal Poly Pomona, Sarah has enjoyed a career in operations management and leadership development for local non-profits, including REACH centers and The Leadership Connection (TLC). Having owned and cared for pets her whole life, Sarah was looking to join a team where she could make a difference in the lives of pets in the community and joined the PSS family officially in 2014. Sarah has 3 dogs (Baby, Salem, and Coco), 2 cats (Shadow and Papaya), and a loving human family.
Jay Stokes has been in the animal industry since 2012 and in multi-unit management and leadership for 3 Fortune 500 companies for over 25 years. Managing all of the veterinary hospitals for Banfield Pet Hospital in the Inland Empire, Jay applied his passion for operations to helping pets live happier and healthier lives. Together with his wife Amber, they started the PSS movement to provide professionalism, convenience, and cutting-edge style to the world of pet service. Pet Service Solutions is the culmination of their combined experience and dedication to provide the best possible care for pets. Jay's family consists of a Biewer Terrier (Madison), a German Shorthaired Pointer (Heidi), a German Wire-haired Pointer (Hagen), a tuxedo cat (Monkey), tortoise (Tim) and a human family (Amber, William, Nate, Evan & Jillian).
Lauren is a student at Point Loma Nazarene University studying History and Literature and has a passion for animals. She’s owned an Australian Shepard, a Rottweiler, three black labs, three guinea pigs, and a rabbit, and enjoys carrying for her menagerie. Involved in dog training, at home Lauren has a medical alert service dog and a search and rescue dog she trained for FEMA. After locally pet sitting for neighbors including horses, birds, rabbits, goats, chickens, cats, dogs, and geese, she officially joined the PSS family and loves caring for the pets and families we serve. Lauren hopes to work as a museum curator after college and plans to continue her work with service dogs and highly-trained skill dogs.
Kayla is studying Elementary Education and Human Development at Biola University and spent her high school years working with disabled children at Ability First. She also pursues her interest in the Deaf community through multiple classes in American Sign Language. Her love for pets and ability to make an impact in the lives of pets brought her to Pet Service Solutions. Although Kayla very much loves dogs, too, her unique talent with cats is extraordinary. Kayla being a true cat lover gives the company a way to ensure their care taker will not smell like too many dogs, and is able to dedicate her time to studying feline behavior and well-being. Her own cat, Benny, often serves as her inspiration and muse for her kitty-centered career.
Julian joined PSS in 2017 and has been in the veterinary industry since 2010, working as a Veterinary Assistant, Shift Lead, and Hospital Manager. His pet knowledge and medical background, as well as leadership experience, have provided a solid foundation and veterinary-focus for our pet hotel that our clients have come to know and love. Born and raised in the Inland Empire, Julian currently resides in Fontana with his wife, son and two dogs, both mini dauschunds
Nicole is a full-time student at Western University of Health Sciences pursuing a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine with an anticipated graduation date of May 2019. Originally from Minnesota (St Paul), Nicole received her Bachelor’s in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota. Nicole's animal experience began in 2005 working with a local veterinary clinic and since then also includes dog and cat surgical rehabilitation, veterinary technician work, equine recue, and wildlife positions in an avian nursery. In her free time Nicole enjoys walks/hikes, reading, volunteering, camping, and watching movies, she is also a certified archery instructor (!) and lives with her adorable kitty Phyllis.
Kiana is a full time student studying Biology and an avid pet lover. Having attended Drexel University under a softball scholarship, Kiana returned to Claremont where she grew up, and is happy to be back! She has experience with dogs and cats, and at home cares for her 2 year old, very funny cat, Scooter. Kiana plans to pursue a career in pediatric medicine and help human children and families.
